His goal couldn’t help prevent a defeat for Qatar SC and the result of the game condems Qatar SC into the relegation playoffs if they must remain in top tier football next season.
The 38 year old forward secured a 2-1 first half lead after he scored a second goal for his team at the 41st Minute.
Youssef Aymen opened scores for the visitors at the 8th minute but Al-Rayyan responded with a prompt equaliser. The home side then came from behind to beat Samuel’s Qatar SC 4-3.
The two time Africa champion (2000&2002) has now scored 12 goals for his new club with 4 goal assist in his last 28 appearance this season.
Qatar SC have lost 6 of their last 7 matches in their league with a goaless draw against newcomers from the lower division Al Shahania.
