Legendary Cameroonian footballer Samuel Eto’o Fils has been appointed roving ambassador of Chad.
This comes barely days the former Barcelona and Inter Milan legend visited the Central African nation unannounced.
“The presidency of the Republic of Chad appoints to the persons below as roving ambassadors for the presidency.”

The 39-year-old record scorer for the indomitable Lions of Cameroon only quit the beautiful game last year.
Since retiring, Eto’o has been busy criss-crossing the world for multiple reasons related to football and beyond.
He currently serves as the personal assistant of the CAF president Ahmad Ahmad and the body’s personnel in charge of building good ties amongst members of the Confederation of African Football.
Eto’o recieved news of the latest appointment from Mauritania where he has been in the past three days.
