Egypt forward, Mohamed Salah has been named Liverpool FC’s player for the month of August.
The 27-year-old former Roma and Chelsea preferred left foot striker has scored 3 goals in 4 league games this season with 2 assist.
Salah’s goal against Arsenal was also picked as goal of the month for August.
The 2019 UEFA Champions League winner scored 22 goals last season to become the joint top scorer alongside Senegal’s Sadio Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre Emerich Aubameyang.
Salah scored Liverpool’s decisive penalty against Chelsea during the UEFA Super Cup after the game finished 2-2 after regular playtime.
Liverpool host New Castle on Saturday at Anfield.
