Sensational Algerian forward, Saïd Benrahma was unplayable this Saturday afternoon as his championship side strolled to a comfortable three nil victory over Wigan Athletic.
Saïd needed just 19th minutes after kick off of the game to put in-form Brentford on the lead, benefiting from an assist from Emiliano Marcondes.
The host were entertaining and dominanted possession until the end of the first half leading by the same score a goal.
Upon resumption Brentford were the better side, and 12 minutes into the second segment, Saïd benifited from an assist from potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon forward Bryan Mbeumo to score his second of the game.
The forward completed his hatrick in the 66th minutes thanks to an assist from Christian Nørgaard.
Bryan went off in the 64th minutes leaving his place to Joel Valencia.
Saïd was also substituted in the 72nd minutes of the game, leaving his place to Timothy Fosu Mensah.
Wigan finished the game with 10 men, without Joe Gardner who was sent off in the 81st minutes of the game.
The Algerian forward linked with a move away from Brentford has scored 11 goals, provided nine assists in 37 games this season.
Brentford moves closer to promotion with 72 points from 41 games ahead of their home game against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday.
