According to France Football, 28-year-old Senegal international forward Sadio Mane could be on his way out of Anfield.
France Football reports that the Liverpool forward was left angry and disappointed by Jurgen Klopp’s open support for his Dutch teammate Virgil Van Dijk in the race for the Ballon d’Or last season.
Mane has been on the tabs of Real Madrid for some time now, especially after scoring against them in the final of the 2018 UEFA Champions League.
France Football reports that, for Mane, it is either a move to Real or he stays with Liverpool, with his contract with Reds running until June 2023.
Reports suggest that for Mane to leave Liverpool, any potential buyer must be ready to pay about €150 million and Liverpool have also made it clear that they don’t intend to part ways with the former Southampton front man.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been mentioned as a potential destination for the Senegalese with Madrid hoping to secure the services of either Kylian Mbappe or Neymar or even both of them. Mane is considered a potential replacement by the reigning French Champions. But the Senegalese is only ready to leave the Reds if he is joining the Merengues.
Mane’s Madrid dream has been dealt a huge blow by the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, as Mundo Deportivo reports, a move to Real is in serious doubts due to the effects on the club’s finances as result of the Coronavirus outbreak.
The native of Sédhiou has scored 59 Premier League goals for Liverpool in 118 appearances, since joining them in 2016.
