Cameroonian born Colince Ngaha Poungoue’s future as manager remains uncertain as Russian-Ukraine conflict intensifies. Since Russsia attacked Ukraine, all sporting activities in both countries have been suspended, considering players and football actors are caught in between danger.

First Afro-Ukrainian athlete and former striker of Nyva-V Vinnytsia Colince Ngaha, has become jobless following the suspension of sporting activities. Currently serving as manager of his former club Nyva-V Vinnytsia, Colince Ngaha has managed the team since 2016 first on interim basis before taking over the steering wheel fully in 2019.

Uncertainty looms around the amateur former Ukrainian professional Cameroonian football and current manager’s future, uncertain when he will ever return to his coaching job, with military invasion persisting in between Ukraine and Russia.

The 40-year-old tactician became the first Afro-Ukrainian athlete who was appointed a head coach of professional club in Ukraine
Nyva-V Vinnytsia. He started his senior professional career with Ukrainian football team FC Krasyliv in 2004 before moving to Otaci Moldova from 2006-2008 playing for FC Nistru Otaci.

The Cameroonian descent returned to Ukraine in 2008, featuring for Zorya Luhansk, Stal Alchevsk, Vinnytsia, Avanhard Kramatorsk, Vinnytsia, Nyva-V Vinnytsia and ended his career with Ahro-Astra in 2017. Through out his career he made a total of 281 appearances across all clubs scoring 40 goals as a forward.

Colince Ngaha started his coaching career in 2016 as interim coach with his former club Nyva-V Vinnytsia as interim coach before fully taking over in 2019.

Coach Colince Ngaha Poungoue joins the likes of Njie Clinton who plays for Dynamo Moscow, Didier Lamkel Ze playing for Premier League side Khimki and Gabriele Aboudi Onguéné playing for women side CSKA Moscow, caught in danger in Russia and Ukraine.
