The Cameroon Rugby 7 men’s team have left the Douala International Airport this Wednesday for Kampala in Uganda ahead of the African Rugby Seven Championship expected to run from April 23 to 24.
Head Coach Thomas Mpono and the 18-man team had spend a three weeks training Camp at Akono, in a bid to better prepare for the competition.
The Kampala Rugby 7 African Championship will serve as a qualification for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games and the South African Rugby 7 World Cup.
The Cameroonian team will be competing alongside Ghana, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Mauritius Island, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Burundi,Madagascar and Botswana.
