Rudiger to foot the three months bills of nurses at his birthplace in Germany

Anthonio Rudiger of Chelsea will cover three months of catering costs for nurses at Berlin Hospital according to Goal.com

The defender is ready to foot the bills to cater for nurses in the Berlin Charité hospital in Berlin where he was born in 1993.

The German has jump on the bandwagon of players who has continued to provide succour in the form of money, materials or services to organisations, government, health workers or individuals at this crucial time of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The 27-year old also joins the playertogether initiative by the English Premier League players to assist the National Health Service (NHS) to help fight the coronavirus.

He is also part of the Chelsea squad who has donated to the Chelsea foundation.

Germany is one of the country with the highest case of the new pandemic with 148,291 cases, 5,033 deaths and
95,200 recoveries.
