Royaltoms Academy Queens President and coach, Olajide Royal says he is elated that his team will take part in the maiden Soccer Queens Cup next year.
The club alongside five other teams will trade tackles when the Soccer Queens Cup kicks off on February 7, 2022.
“As a grassroots football academy, we are happy to be part of the first edition of Soccer Queens Cup. We will use the tournament to expose our young players from the academy so that they will get competitive experience.” Olajide Royal told www.kick442.com.
“The academy has produced players for the national team, especially at the U-17 and U-20 levels. We also have some of our products in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) and will use this tournament to test run our young talents.” Says Olajide Royal.
The club recently reached the final of the maiden EkoFootball Queens tournament, losing to Oasis Ladies FC, and also participated at the Deputy Governor’s Cup in Edo and Oluwarotimi Cup.
Royaltoms Academy Queens will participate alongside Abruka Queens, Jewel Queens, Kaduna Queens, Imo Strikers, and Fortress Ladies FC in the first edition of Soccer Queens Cup from February 7 to 14, 2022.
