Cotonsport have completed the signing of 21-year old Cameroon youth international Ronnie Etoundi from Renaissance of Ngoumou.
The midfielder arrives on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee after two years at Renaissance. The former Under-20 international becomes Gabriel Haman’s first signing of the summer at Roumde Adja.
Etoundi will add competition to the Cotonite’s midfield with Felix Oukine, Kaiba Djawal and Eric Moursou the other senior central options. The box-to-box midfielder made 77 senior appearances during his time at Renaissance and was one of their captains along the line.
Coton are refreshing their squad ahead a host of departures and a new season in which they will compete in the CAF Champions League.

The Cotonites who conquered Eding Sport to win their 17th League title start their cup of Cameroon campaign against West Regional League side Sims of Bafoussam on Wednesday, July 12.
