One of the most-admired of his generation Rodrique Mentang has begun a new chapter in the football industry.
The former Bamboutos FC of Mbouda, Panthère of Nde sweeper is currently at the CAF Excellence center in Mbankomo where tenths of Cameroonian coaches are being trained for the CAF license A1.
Mentang, a leader in almost all Clubs he has represented showed his class in his days at the above-mentioned Clubs and was short of words when he played for YOSA and Fovu of Baham either.
The ex-Akwa United FC defender made a brilliant presentation of a task handed him on Thursday.
He is one of many ex-footballers currently undergoing the training.
One of the leaders of the Bamboutos FC of Mbouda team that lost the 2016 cup of Cameroon final, Mentang remains a reference to a good number of young players coming through in the country.
Once he is done with his training, the Cameroon Elite One legend in his early 40s will be needed on the field for a transfer of his knowledge to the next generation.
