There has been a U-turn in the future of 21-year-old Cameroon forward Roche Foning Toche.
Despite being heavily involved in the rumor mill of the close season transfer window with Bamboutos FC of Mbouda and Fovu of Baham manifested interest, Foning has committed his future to Dragon of Yaoundé.
The player has told the kick442.com team that he will spend another season at the Yaoundé-based top-flight after his entourage reached a consensus with the Club based on his interest.
“I am working on my studies in the University and playing football at the same time, it was key in making this decision especially as I just started a new program,” Foning told kick442.com.
The speedy forward and captain of Dragon at some point in time last season has signed a new one-year deal.
Considered a ‘live wire’ in the final third, the Mbouda-native was not short of suitors.
The former Cameroon Under-20 has previously been courted by foreign and national suitors suitors but in the meantime he will continue with Dragon Yaoundé-Cameroon.
Dragon FC are currently preparing for the upcoming season season with a kick off announced for October 31 thought with doubts crowding the mounts of all except disciples of the Cameroon Professional football league.
