The head coach of the Indomitable lionesses of Cameroon, Alain Djeumfa Defranse, has made known his starting XI to face the shepolopolo of Zambia this Thursday March 05, 2020, in an away leg last round Qualifiers for the 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo, Japan.

The away tie is taking place at the Yaounde omnisport stadium, before both sides will meet a week later, in Zambia, for the second leg.

GOALKEEPER

(16) Ange Bawou
Alain Djeumfa has again given his confidence to young goalie, Ange Gabrielle Bawou. The Louves Minproff shot stopper will command the goalpost this afternoon.

Coach Alain Djeumfa has gone in for a 4_3_3 formation, with a blend of professionals and home based players. Five home based players are in the starting XI (Ange Bawou, Collette Ndzana, Catherine Mbengono, Meyong Charlene and Michelle Akaba).

Prior to today’s game, coach Alain Djeumfa said “Our motivation is the participation to the Olympics Games”.

Cameroon will be looking to secure a better score at home, before making the trip to the southern part of Africa, for the return leg.

Kick off time 3:30pm at the Yaounde omnisport stadium.
