The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon will welcome team captain Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene in their squad next month when they face Ivory Coast over two legs in the fourth round of 2020 Olympics qualifiers should Cameroon eliminate DR Congo.

Cameroon face DR Congo this Tuesday in the round three return leg game in Kinshasa and will be without Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene who also missed her side’s 2 nil win in Cameroon. understands the Cameroon football federation has been informed by the disciplinary commission of the World governing body, FIFA that Aboudi was handed a 2 game ban following an incident which cause her recieve a straight Red Card.

Therefore the speedy winger will return in November when Cameroon travel to challenge “giant killers” Ivory Coast and the return leg game.

Aboudi Onguene was invited for Cameroon’s first leg game against DR Congo but wasn’t cleared to play.

She has since been left with no option than to remain at her Russian side CSKA Moscow.

Raissa Feudjio missed Cameroon’s first leg round three game against DR Congo for the same reason but she returns to Cameroon’s team this Tuesday.

Cameroon with a 2 nil aggregate lead face DR Congo this Tuesday in Kinshasa.
