Captain of the indomitable Lionesses, Aboudi Onguene lost her head during the last 10 minutes of the Cameroon versus Ethiopia game in the Yaounde Omnisport stadium on Tuesday.

The winger who plays her club football in CSKA Moscow went bananas on Tesfamariam Mesulu after she was tackled.
Mesulu caught Aboudi and the ball in a desperate attempt to clear her zone in the final minutes of the encounter.

The referee had spotted an infringement and blown in favour of Cameroon but Onguene took the law into her hands and confronted the defender head-on.

Referee Amanda Anaelle issued the Cameroon skipper her matching order after consulting assistants, and the striker’s next action seemed unrepentant. While making her way to the locker, sounds of kicks and screams could be heard in the tunnel.

The straight red for the Lionesses now means they would miss several important components heading to the final round of the qualifiers against the DRC.
