The head coach of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon have told the media this Wednesday that Cameroon’s key midfielder, Raissa Feudjio will seat out of Cameroon’s Tokyo 2020 third round Olympics qualifiers game against DR Congo this Thursday in Yaounde because of accumulations of bookings.
The midfielder was booked for the second consecutive game in Cameroon’s last outing against Ethiopia in Yaounde.
The 23-year-old midfielder has earned 47 caps for Cameroon but will be missed by a Cameroon team with a long lists of unavailable players.
Forward Aboudi Onguene, defender Leuko Patrice Chibosso will also miss the game due to suspension while defender Marie Aurelle Awono is out because of an injury.
Coach Alain Djeumfa has picked Ninon Abena, Meyong Menene,Ngock Yango, Dabda Claudia Omboudou Bridgitte and Ngo Mbeleck Genevieve are the options available for Cameroon on Thursday.
Cameroon host DR Congo this Thursday before returning to Kinshasa on the 10th for the second leg game.
The suspended players could all be available for Cameroon in the return leg game with the exception of Leuko Patrice Chibosso who wasn’t summoned for the two games.
