The head coach of the U17 lionesses of Cameroon, Stephane Ndzana Ngono, has summoned 28 players to camp, to prepare for the qualifiers for the FIFA U17 women’s world cup, scheduled for India in 2020.

The training camp will run from Monday September 21, to Wednesday September 30, 2020, in Yaoundé.

Coach Stephane Ndzana has summoned three goalkeepers, 10 defenders, eight midfielders and seven attackers.

Regulars like Brenda Tabe, Michaely Bihina, Nkada Nkada and Ndome Mbella Elise, have kept their places, while Goalkeeper Noah Mendoula Marie is amongst the few new comers in the squad.

The U17 lionesses of Cameroon had beaten Sao Tome and Principe 10#0 in the previous round of the qualifiers, before the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, and will now face Uganda in the next round of Qualifiers.

Only players born on or after 1 January 2003, are eligible to compete in the tournament. Three teams will qualify to represent CAF in competition.

The 7th edition of the FIFA U17 women’s world cup will take place in India in 2021.
