AS Fortuna’s young left back was one of the stars of their four nil win over Dragon Yaounde in match-day 28 of the Cameroon Elite One championship.
The 18-year-old African champion and world cup participant who had been restricted just 10 minutes of competitive football this season was in from the start on Thursday and did not disappoint.
Ngatchou was convincing in his role. He had a hand in two of Fortuna’s goals.
He also defended well all 90 minutes to ensure his club take home a win and clean sheet.
Ricky starred for Cameroon’s under 17 team and the world cup but has been frozen on the bench at the club.
Speaking post match the young full back summarized the game in his view.
“It was a difficult game both sides needed the points but we wanted it more” he told kick442.com
Ngatchou will be hoping he gets a run of games under his belt barely six games before the end of the current season.
