23 year old Cameroonian international Christian Mougang Bassogog, is not giving up his dreams of playing in the top League’s in Europe. The 2017 AFCON Most Valuable player currently plys his trade for Chinese super League side Henan Jianye, but have his eyes set on a possible return to Europe.

In a recent outing with GoalFrance the forward said “it’s always my Dream to come back to Europe. I would like to play in the premiére League”. He also expressed his dream of playing for one of premier league’s top six side. “My club since I was little, is Arsenal. I like playing with the ball and this club suits me”.

Christian Bassogog came to prominence in 2017, during Cameroon’s AFCON winning expedition in Gabon, where he caught the eye of many with dribbles and runs up front, which earn him the nickname “Africa’s Messi”. The former Rainbow FC, Wilmington Hammerheads and AaB man has spend the last two seasons with Henan Jianye, though he has had limited playing time this season.

He was part of the Cameroon squad that was eliminated at the eighth Finals of the 2019 AFCON in Egypt. At 23, Bassogog certainly still have a long way to go and if he works hard, he can fulfill his dream move to the premier league and dream club, the Gunners.
