Nigerian duo of Tochukwu Oluehi and Evelyn Nwabuoku have passed their medical examination and COVID-19 test at Reto Iberdorla side, CD Pozoalbense upon arrival in Spain, www.kick442.com reports.
This was confirmed by the Club on their social media handles with the video of Oluehi and Nwabuoku with medical staff affirming their medical success.
“Evelyn Nwabuoku and Tochukwu Oluehi just passed the medical examination and Covid test, all coming out right, so they can safely be added to the staff starting tomorrow.
From our club we always advocate the safety of all our players and at the same time, the health of all the inhabitants of our town, so we take all the necessary measures to do so.
Now yes, welcome!” CD Pozoalbense tweeted.
The two players joined CD Pozoalbense from Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL side, Rivers Angels after helping the Port Harcourt based side clinch the 2018-2019 Nigeria Women Premier League, NWPL trophy. They will commence preparation with their new teammates ahead of the 2020-2021 Reto Iberdorla season which will kick off in two weeks.
Evelyn Nwabuoku and Tochukwu Oluehi also featured for the Super Falcons of Nigeria at the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations, AWCON where Nigeria triumphed in the final over South Africa as well as at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France where Nigeria reached the Round of 16.
