Super Falcons forward, Uchenna Kanu is set to join Mexican champions, Tigres Femenil on a permanent deal according to reports from multiple sources monitored by www.kick442.com.
The former Sevilla FC forward left Swedish Damallsvenskan side, Linkopings FC following the expiration of her contract in November, 2021.
Kanu spent two seasons with Linkopings FC after joining the club from Spanish Primera Iberdrola side, Sevilla FC in 2020 scoring eight goals in 22 league games in her first season.
She improved on that in the just concluded 2021 season with 14 goals in 20 league games as Linkopings finished the season in the sixth position and finished as the Club top goal scorer in consecutive seasons.
Her two goals in the first leg of 2022 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) Qualifiers for Super Falcons of Nigeria propeled her side to a 2-1 aggregate victory over Black Queens of Ghana in the last round of the qualifiers.
