Out of contract at the end of the season with Italian Giant AC Milan, Franck Kessie has been quick to tie himself down to a contract with FC Barcelona, with coach Xavi speaking highly of the Ivory Coast midfielder.
And now Gianluca di Marzio reports that 25-year-old Kessie who has some 56 appearances for his national team has already undertaken a medical with Barcelona in the Swiss city of Lugano and passed making him a player for the Catalan giant from next football season.
SPORT reported last week that Franck Kessie will sign a four-year contract with FC Barcelona worth around 6.5 million euros. He will, however, not be receiving a signing bonus having signed as a free agent.
A move for Kessie had been rumoured for a little while now and this news brings to bed his signing for Barcelona. Kessie will now join Andreas Christensen who is also set to be moving to Barcelona this summer
