It would be recalled that Federation of International Football Authority (FIFA) released funds to their member Associations to support clubs due to the hardships brought on clubs due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic

Information available to indicates that a total of 72 Women’s Division One clubs were submitted by the Regional Football Associations to the FA for the package.

However, upon review and further checks, a total of 19 clubs exist just by name. They do not have any registered players in the FA’s system which is the basis of benefit.

The information further states that letters have been sent to the various RFA’s with the names of the unqualified clubs.

Currently, a total of 53 clubs have been cleared to be paid.
