Remo Stars quartet of Arierhi Kparobo, Promise Meliga, Chigozie Ohaemesi, and Ajayi Ajewole made the team of the tournament after the conclusion of the 2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) LaLiga U-15 Promises.
Arierhi Kparobo was the top goal scorer of the tournament after scoring the two goals that won the title for Remo Stars while Ohaemesi Chigozie emerged as the player of the tournament after helping the young Sky Blue Stars cinch the title last Sunday.
Shooting Stars duo of Ajayi Samuel and Ganiyu Samad also made the list.
Shooting Stars were defeated 2-0 by Remo Stars in the final match.
Kano Pillars had two players in the team of the tournament; defender, Shamsudeen Rabiu and midfielder Bashir Muhammad.
Katsina United’s goalkeeper, Abubakar Anas who scored the winning penalty as his side defeated Kano Pillars to win the third-place match also made the cut alongside his teammate, Kashimu Abdullahi.
Gombe United’s Miko Dalha completed the team of the tournament.
