After draws on the opening day of 2020/2021 Remo Division One Football League Super 8 at Gateway International Stadium Sagamu on Tuesday, actions moved to Remo Stars Stadium Ikenne on Wednesday where Easy FC and The Cock FC defeated Remo Academy and Remo Stars U-15 respectively.
Both games ended in 3-0 victories for the victors.
Easy FC of Ayepe defeated Remo Academy of Iperu 3-0 in the first game of the day thanks to Johnson Samurai’s brace and Anu Jarvet’s goal.
The Cock FC also defeated Remo Stars U-15 3-0 as Idris Akeem, Toheeb Ajibade, and Omotayo Babatunde converted for The Cock FC.
Thursday, March 3, 2022, will be observed as a rest day before the Super 8 resume on Friday with the second group games.
