The Nigeria U17 football team (Golden Eaglets) defeated Burkina Faso 1-0 to qualify for the WAFU B U17 Cup finals.
Spying at the commencement of the tournament was rapacious for the team.
From all indications, it appears that there is a massive conspiracy against the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria here in Lome, the venue of the WAFU B U 17 tournament.
“The Golden Eaglets were the first to land Lome, Togo on Sunday for the Tournament. As of the time of filing this report the team is yet to do the mandatory MRI tests for the players.
The Golden Eaglets waited until 1 pm Togo time for the MRI tests, sadly the players are to conduct the test.
Golden Eaglets lost their first opening match to Baby Elephants by 0-1. should we say all they passed through when they arrived in Lome cause they the match against the Baby Elephants, but Luckily for Nigeria, Baby Elephants won 3-1 to end Ghana’s dream of progressing to the semifinals and helped Nigeria pick the second group B ticket.
The coach said it was hard work that helps them and no luck, I remembered the NFF president visited the camp to gear up the players to put smiles on Nigeria back that Nigeria wants victory from them even though they are in the developmental process.
Emmanuel Papo scored the winner to hand Nigeria her first official victory into the final.
The coach said he watched his opponent’s matches to know their strength and weaknesses this helps his team.
Now is the Final they are meeting the Baby Elephants once my Advice for them is this “Defeat is only recorded in Box once you cant rise again but once you can arise is not Recorded.”
“They should forget the first defeat and be bold, courageous to face the Baby Elephants because the Baby Elephants are divine phenomenal in the tournament already, I recollect the Golden Eaglets coach said is boys re not converting their chances in front of goal. I hoped the coach will not stake on these points if is boys fails to win the trophy back home. No excuse on the final day do all you can do to win it and don’t blame your players it is a collectives game. our Agency office wishes you success ahead.” Onipede concluded.
Nigeria eventually lost the final match 3-2 and has qualified for the next CAF U17 Championship.
