Northern Women’s Soccer League side,Seattle Reign FC have late on Tuesday announced the release of 25 year old Ghanaian attacking midfielder,Elizabeth Addo to pave way for a move to China.

Addo is the Black Queen with most goals for Ghana in the last two AWCON’s previously and played for NWSL side, Boston Breakers in the 2017-18 off-season after which she joined Reign FC after the Breakers folded. Addo featured on 13 occasions for Reign FC in 2018, making 8 starts in a season which recently ended with an assist in the final game of the regular season at Portland.

The club left this message to their supporters:.

“Elizabeth informed us that she has an opportunity to play in China that will be beneficial to her and her family,” said Reign FC owner and president Bill Predmore in a team press release. “She asked for our assistance in making the move and we are supportive of her request. We appreciate her efforts on behalf of Reign FC last season and wish her well.”

Addo took to Twitter to send this message to fans;

“Together with Seattle Reign FC we’ve mutually agreed to part ways.I want to thank the Club,the Predmore Family,Technical staff,Teammates,the Fans for de Love and care you’ll always be in my heart.thank you @ReignFC Wishing you all a very successful season.

All is pointing towards China for Addo as understands the players representative have had a pre-agreement to see the talented midfielder move to China.
