French Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille have been heavily-linked with a move for 18-year-old Mughe Regis from Cameroon Elite talent producers Les Brasserie du Cameroun Football Academy.
According to Griffe-2-foot, the 2022 UEFA Champions League-bound outfit have made contact with the attacker and his parent club EFBC -Douala and talks are well on course to cause a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
It is understood that several teams are sharing interest in trying to sign Mughe either on loan or in a permanent deal but EFBC wants direct business.
Mughe, who’s been on the books of the Littoral outfit since 2017, is an extremely exciting young talent with tremendous speed and dribbling ability plus an eye for goal.
Should the deal pull through, Mughe will give Marseille reserves some much-needed competition in the forward positions.
The Cameroon Under-17 international has enjoyed a stunning season for EFBC, scoring as many goals, as well as providing seven assists, from 28 games in all competitions.
A move to Marseille will mean he will join international colleague and another former EFBC forward Carlos Balepa who moved to rivals Lille in February this year.
