Red hot FC Metz forward Didier Lamkel Ze is a subject of transfer interest from Serbian giants and champions Red Star Belgrade.
kick442.com has learnt from Griffe-2-foot that officials of the Serbian capital are gathering data about the player who made an impressive return to France in the final phase of this season in the colors of FC Metz.
Ze’s three goals in eight appearances for Metz is the reason why the club hoped to beat the drop till the last day of the season.
Since arriving Metz, Ze has won more fans including Lyon and now Red Stars officials who are in the process of reaching out to his parent club – Royal Antwerp to seek modalities to effect a switch to the Groupama.
The 2021-2022 season has been a tough one for the former Brasserie Football Academy product; Metz is Ze’s third club this season.
Ze started the season on loan at Slovenian side Dunajská Streda before moving to Khimki in Russia and now in France with Metz where he suffered relegation.
Scoring for Metz in his third appearance for the club a few weeks back made him the first footballer to score in three different national championships in the same season.
A move to Red for the former Bordeaux and Niort man will see him link up with a championship and town in which compatriot Leandre Tawamba blossomed during his time on the books of Partizan Belgrade.
