Former Volleyball Lionesses of Cameroon skipper Rebecca Rose Ngo Nkot has died aged 36.
The retired Volleyballer died in Douala in the night of Tuesday, February 16 and details on her demise remain unknown.
Rebecca put to bed just four days ago in safe conditions but fell ill days after.
The demise of the native from Yaoundé Cameroon is a big setback for FECAVOLLEY as she was considered as a mentor to the current generation of the Lionesses.
She played for the Cameroon women’s national volleyball team.
She represented at the 2006 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship and a number of Clubs in her time in active service including INJS Yaoundé, AES Sonel VB, Melun-La Rochette, and ES Meylan La Tronche.
