The lead trainer of French Ligue 1 side RC Lens has confirmed the availability of 21-year-old Ignatius Kpene Ganago.
The striker will be available for selection for this weekend’s French Ligue 1 clash away at Dijon.
Ganago has been out of action for six weeks since been stretchered-off after he was injured during a French Ligue 1 game against AS Saint Etienne.
That injury has kept him out of Club and country activities since then. But there’s is some good news for fans of the four-goals striker.
“Ignatius is ready and in-form,” coach Franck Hessie stated told the media after observing the player in training for over two weeks.
He however cautioned over expectant fans; “don’t forget he has been out of the pitch for many weeks. So he may not start against Dijon but is likely to have some minutes under his belt.
11th-placed RC Lens travel to rock-bottom Dijon knowing a win can take them as high as the 5th spot on the log.
The 1998 French champions of France are hoping for a good return to competition after two weeks off due to the FIFA international break.
