Super Falcons forward, Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade was on target for her Norweigian Toppserien Women side, Avaldsnes IL in their league victory on Saturday, July 4, 2020, www.kick442.com can report.
The former FC Robo Queens captain was part of the goal scorers for Avaldsnes IL as they defeated Lyn 5-2 at home.
Ajibade scored her side’s second goal which put them ahead for the first time in the match in the 43rd minute after going behind in the 16th minute via a goal from Godo. Thorsnes equalised for Avaldsnes IL in the 29th minute before Rasheedat put her side ahead.
Three more goals from Tennebo, Tvendten, and Thorsnes secured a 5-2 victory for Avaldsnes IL.
Ajibade joined Avaldsnes IL in December 2018, from Lagos based Nigeria Women Premier League, NWPL side, FC Robo Queens.
Rasheedat Ajibade has represented Nigeria at U-17, U-20, and senior-level with over ten caps for the Super Falcons. She won the inaugural Nigeria National Freestyle Championship, which is a competition to promote freestyling football.
