Super Falcons forward, Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade opened her goal account for Spanish Primera Division Women’s side, Atletico Madrid as her side defeated Valencia 4-1 on Sunday.
Ajibade scored Atletico Madrid’s fourth goal of the game in the 82nd minute after replacing Cameroon’s Ajara Nchout in the 75th minute.
Candela Andujar gave the visitors the lead in the 22nd minute.
Atletico Madrid responded eight minutes later when Ludmila Da Silva equalised.
The Brazilian (Ludmila) put Atletico Madrid ahead for the first time in the game in the 45th minute.
Maria Jimenez’s own goal in the 79th minute extended Atletico’s lead before Rasheedat Ajibade rounded up the goals for the host.
The goal was Ajibade’s first for Atletico Madrid since joining the Spanish outfit from Norwegian Toppserien side, Avaldsnes.
Atletico Madrid occupied the fourth position on the Spanish Primera Division Women’s league table with 38 points from 20 games.
They will play Real Betis in their next game on March 7, 2021.
