Current Cameroon champions Cotonsport of Garoua are making last minutes efforts to sign playmaker Cabrel Donfack Ramses Prince from rivals Eding Dport de la Lekie.
President Fernand Sadou’s side were linked with a number of potential attacking transfer targets earlier this window and have landed some though they are still keen on adding Ramses.
They want the 23-year old who played telling role in taking Eding to the second spot last season could be a huge addition to Eding.
According sources, the club in the North Region Cotonsport has approached Eding in an attempt to secure his release.
The former Unisport and Douala Academy Foot man joined Eding during of the 2019-20 season, as a free agent and paid back their trust on the pitch.
The man who impressed with 16 goal involvement in 22 MTN Elite One games for Bonaventure Djonkep’s Eding last season could be on the move if his parent club agrees with Coton.
The forward’s trickery, vision about good passes and esquisite finishing abilities makes him an unwanted customer to most defenders in the league.
If the former Cameroon under-17 international moves to Garoua, it will be a fitting way to cap a year everything he has touched has turned to gold.
The Cotonites have to complete their CAF Champions League squad before August 22nd per the directives of the organizers.
