Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas of Istanbul are said to have an interest in signing Egyptian international winger Ramadan Sohbi from Huddersfield Town.
Reports suggest that, Besiktas have been talked into having an interest in the player by his fellow Egyptian national team teammate, Mohamed Elneny, who is currently on loan from Arsenal.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan with eight times CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly from English Championship side Huddersfield Town.
Sohbi led Egypt’s U-23 side to U-23 African Cup of Nations glory last year on home soil and his been impressive for Al Ashly since joining them with five goals in nine games.
Though he has been sidelined with a thigh injury since mid-December, Turkish news outlet Yeni Akit, reports that Besiktas are interested in his services in the upcoming transfer window.
