Moroccan top side, Raja Club Athletic is to pay Congolese player, Lema Mabidi the sum of $280,000 for breach of contract.

The world football governing body, (FIFA) has ordered the Moroccan club to pay their former player Lema Mabidi the compenstion after the club failed to pay the arrears.

The Leopard complained the club of the Sherifian Kingdom owed him up to 1.3m Moroccan Dirhams in accrued salary arrears and bonuses over several months which is approximately $132,000.

But Raja didn’t pay despite both parties had sought an amicable solution to resolve the dispute earlier according to reports.

The Congolese midfielder consequently declined to sign a new two-year contract last year making the player to move to Azerbaijan club; SABAIL FC earlier this year.

Justice has now been served for the Congolese and Raja has 45 days to pay the sum which is a compensation for the breach.
