Rail Football Academy have emerged champions of the maiden edition of the Gaelle Enganamouit donated l’enfant fondation de Rail tournament after beating Charite de Bandjoun FC by 2 goals to nil in the final.
The final game on March 6 brought an end to the first edition of that had started 3 days earlier with 8 teams.
Jeunesse Sportive and Sporting de Kondengui had to be separated by post match penalties in the 3rd place playoffs as Sporting de Konndengui edge their rivals by 4 successes to 2 to finish in the 3rd spot.
The top 5 teams in the competition are;
1st Rails Football Academy (RFA)
2nd Charité de Bandjoun
3rd Sporting de Kodengui
4th Jeunesse Sportive
5th AS Mossissi
The competition aimed at detecting young talents for Enganamouit’s Rail Football Academy was is the first edition of many according to inside sources.
Rails Football Academy was created by Enganamouit this January and it is expected to have 3 categories of 18 players each-the Under 8,13 and 17 categories respectively.
The Academy will continue the scouting in the next edition of the tournament that comes up next Easter.
