Nigeria’s top athhlete, Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor placed first in 11.05s in the Women’s 100m at the 2019 Rabat, Diamond League.
Okagbare won as she ran fastest ahead of Côte D’voire’s Marie Josee Ta Lou in 11.09s and Crystal Emmanuel of Canada wjo came second and third respectively. 3rd in 11.30s.
Okagbare looked good in form as she ran her season’s best to winfirst time in the Rabat, Morocco since making her debut in 2016..
It will be reminded that her performance in Shanghai in May helped her championship qualification and Tokyo 2020 Olympic spot.
