The second leg CAF Champions League game pitting Cameroon Elite One Champions PWD Social Club of Bamenda against Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa slated for this Friday at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg is set to be rescheduled, kick442.com understands.
According to our independent findings, the Abakwa boys are still in Cameroon 48 hours before the game as their trip to South Africa this Wednesday didn’t work as planned.
This Pan-African Sports News Agency understands the boys of coach David Pagou couldn’t travel for multiple reasons amongst which is lack of visas for the traveling party.
PWD lost at home to Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday in the first leg preliminary fixture and is expected to at least equal the result in the reverse fixture to keep their chances of qualifying for the next round of the competition.
This online portal is still investigating hints that there has been an official request to postpone the game to Sunday, December 6 at the same venue.
The game will be PWD’s first game in South Africa and potentially a chance to extend their stay in the CAF Champions League this season.
