PWD Social Football club of Bamenda has announced the signing of Togolese youngster Lawson David from Ifodje FC of Atakpame.
The 19_year_old forward has penned a two year deal with the Abakwa Boys, as he joined them from Togolese League One side Ifodje FC.
“We’re delighted to announce that Togolese U20 international Lawson David, has joined the Abakwa Boys on a two year deal,” the Abakwa Boys wrote.
“The 19_year_old will be an important part of the our “new project.”
Lawson David has represented Togo at the U17 and U20 categories, but will now continue his football development with CAF Confederation cup bound PWD Social Football club of Bamenda.
The Youngster had his early days with Kotoko FC of Togo and Omnisports Agaza. He returned from a stint in Israël, but is now expected to play a key role in Nkabyo Martin’s side.
PWD has taken the transfer market by storm, with high profile signings, as the prepare for the start of the Elite one championship, and their CAF Confederation cup game against Elgeco plus of Madagascar early next month.
