Public Works Department of Bamenda have unveiled their new blue and white away shirt ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The away shirt has been released via the Club’s social media handles representing the blue and white colors the Club has had as it adopted colors since its creation over 50 years ago.
This comes barely days after the Club’s president Pascal Abunde hinted in Twitter the the Club’s kits for the 2020-2021 will be designed to portray the culture of the people of the Northwest Region of Cameroon.
It is the usual predominantly blue kit and the first in the club’s history that it is been presented via this approach.
This kit is different as it has stylish white trimming across the chest and at the back, while the club’s crest, sponsor Mitanyen and Epic Events Center Bamenda are all emblazened in orange and black.
The shirt have been made entirely of recycled polyester which has been obtained from recycled plastic bottles in a design which is thought to not only benefit the environment, but also to improve the performance of players.
The new PWD top is available for sale through the club’s Secretariat or using the telephone line +237 677287244.
PWD of Bamenda are expected to be on the news for the right reason on kick442.com this weekend.
