PWD Kumba starting XI against NQSA

The flag bearers of the South West Region to the 2019 national round-robin tournament to gain promotion into Cameroon’s national second tier championship, PWD of Kumba are in the final stage of their preparations.

The team will play a farewell game on Tuesday August 20, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Community field in Limbe against a selection of players from all the top teams in the region.

The south west selection will be coached by the best coach of the just ended season of the South West Regional Championship, Lazare Mbounya.

Coach Mbounya is expected to get most of the players who were in the South West team of the season like, Gwe Beckley, Mbongo Clovis, Festus Ebere, Moki Franklin, Ngwa Leonard, Emmanuel Agbor, Dion Atonga and many other top players to give PWD a real test.

PWD of Kumba under inspirational captain Abane Bibish are expected to give their all in Bertoua and come back with an Elite Two ticket with an entire region anxiously waiting.

Moses Itua, Atabong Romuala, Namse Ebile Kelson, Betrand Takie Nkah and the rest of the players of “Meme Works” know the weight of the task ahead of them, with the entire South West region counting on them.

The game will be played under the watchful eyes of the Fecafoot President for the South West, Mr Thomas Ndive Molungu. He is the brain behind this game which is intended to prepare the team as well as to permit them get the blessings of the entire population of the region before they travel to Bertoua.

The game will be handled by referee Tanyi Shadrack, to be assisted by Ngwane Leonard and Nchie Alphonsus . The fourth official will be Njikam Beatrice.

The National interpools will be played in Bertoua, in the East region of Cameroon from the 24th to the 30th of August 2019.

PWD of Kumba are drawn in pool B with Stade of Bertoua (the representative from the East) and Kohi of Maroua (the representative from the Far North region).

Pool A is made up of; Olimpic of Biwoung Bane from the South region, AS Dibamba from the Littoral, Volcan du Noun from the West and Ngaoundéré FC from the Adamawa region.

Pool C is also has three teams just like pool B: Etoile Filante of Garoua from the North region, Foncha Street FC from the North west and Mercure of Bafia from the centre region.

The three group winners will automatically gain promotion to the national Elite Two Championship for the 2019/2020 football season.
