The central desk of the team has gathered that Cameroon Elite One championship potential champions, PWD of Bamenda have held informal talks with current Dragon Yaounde shot stopper Amido Yindui Mohamed.

The former Under 20 Lions of Cameroon goalkeeper is in his final season with rivals Dragon of Yaounde.

Yindui has had more game time this season after being understudy to Haschou Kerrido in his debut campaign. He has displayed the skills he picked up in his five year stay at Best Stars Academy of Limbe making the goalkeepers slot his own this season.

With Dragon Yaounde closer to relegation than ever before, PWD of Bamenda are keen on snatching one of the bright elements in what can be easily described as a dismal season for president Kome Max’s club. understands the Cameroon Elite One championship leaders are looking for cover in the goalkeeping department and have reached out to the 20-year-old.

Goalkeepers Zame Rodrique, Didimus and Damlabeu have had a far from assuring season forcing the club to switch from one goalkeeper to another at different times of the season. This surely justifies the club’s need for another goalkeeper next term.

PWD are in competition for the title with the likes of Cotonsport of Garoua, Colombe Dja and Bamboutos FC of Mbouda with barely six games left.

The champions will enter next season’s CAF Champions League competition thus presenting the need to start working for next season almost before the end of the current season.
