The Board of Directors for 2020 Champions of Cameroon Elite One PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda have unanimously adopted fruitful and prosperous stands for the club ahead of the 2021-2022 football season.
In a BOD meeting held Tuesday March 1, 2022, with all BOD members in attendance, seven fruitful decisions were agreed upon to favour the future of the club both home and abroad.
One of the most interesting resolution was the extension of the contract of lead trainer coach Pagou David who led the team to their first Silva wear and the recruitment of Mr Backen Francois as goalkeeper coach. PWD’s Sports Complex project presented by President Abunde Pascal has been agreed with a go ahead given.
Being one of the very performant club recently in the country with interesting and amazing play style, Haven won the Elite one championship, featuring in the CAF Champions League, and ready to participate in the 2021 Cup of Cameroon Finale, PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda have won the hearts of many supporters in the country, eventually giving them a bus after the unfortunate situation. The BOD extended gratitude to Minister Mbayu Felix for initiating the Bus project and to elites of the North West and South west regions for supporting the club.
Ahead of the 2021/2022 football season expected in the days ahead, the sum of 131million FCFA have been adopted to run the season after confirming the budget of the previous season.
With the Cup of Cameroon around the corners, the BOD has confirmed the holding of meetings with shareholders, members and supporters of the club to ensure victory in Yaounde when the Abakwa Boys take on Astres Football Club of Douala.
The PWD supporter Structure project to be set up in North America has been validated and some members in the USA charged with the registration of this project.
