The PricewaterhouseCoopers, PWC is expected to conduct the interview for the coaching job of Super Falcons of Nigeria in order to come up with the best candidate for the job.
This was confirmed by the President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Melvin Amaju Pinnick while responding to questions from kick442.com Nigeria correspondent during a media meeting with journalists via Zoom.
“We are waiting for PricewaterhouseCoopers, PWC, to conduct the interview with the coaches that applied for the job so as to know the next Super Falcons coach. There is the possibility that the interview will be conducted and concluded this week via Zoom.” He said.
Kick442 had earlier reported the NFF President saying that the Federation is in the process of appointing a world-class coach for Super Falcons before the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“We ought to have appointed a new coach for Super Falcons, but it is out of our hands now. We contacted PWC as a consultant to advertise and get us a world-class coach. They were in the process of doing that before this COVID-19 pandemic erupted because we have given them a deadline that we want to appoint a coach before the end of April so that the coach can start work immediately. The good news is that we have a lot of world-class coaches that are ready to take up Super Falcons job. If I mention their names, you will be shocked, but I don’t want to disclose their identity. We are going to give Nigeria the best coach.”
Super Falcons are without a coach after Thomas Dennerby left the country to take up the Indian Under 17 girls coaching job.
