French Ligue 1 giants PSG have reached out to the entourage of Vincent Aboubakar in an attempt to sign the 30-year old Cameroonian forward during the upcoming window.
Information reaching our editorial team this Friday have it that the multiple French champions are talking terms with the player’s entourage and his Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr with the aim of landing the ex-Valeciennes and FC Lorient striker in June.
Per information in good authority, Paris officials consider the forward as player who can better their frontline next term and are willing to trigger his release clause and get him away from Al Nassr barely months after he moved to Saudi Arabia.
Aboubakar joined Al Nassr in June 2021 on a two-year deal from FC Porto but looks to be on his way out after just 24 games.
In 18 starts in all competitions for the Saudi side, Aboubakar has scored nine goals and provided four assists.
The Cotonsport produce will return to Europe and France particularly if PSG pulls off the move.
The agile forward joined Porto at the cost of €3 Million in 2014 still technically untidy at 22 but in six years as a player of the club with a loan spell at Besiktas has tidied the striker and these days he is a ready-made scorer.
Though the former Cotonsport of Garoua forward could struggle in adapting to the new PSG but his energetic runs and movement makes up for that.
The Cameroon international with 34 goals in 87 appearance could follow the steps of very few Cameroonians play for PSG. The likes of Mbami Modeste, Apoula Edel, Dina Ebimbe and Eric Choupo Moting.
