Last season’s revelation midfielder Danel Dongmo has agreed a two-year professional contract with French Ligue 1 ESTAC Troyes after his impressive outings with the reserves.
Danel Dongmo, 21, has penned a deal which will see him move straight into Bruno Irles’ first-team ranks ahead of the 2022/23 season.
A goal-minded midfileder, Dongmo has already created a positive impression with the reserves earning his first-team opportunity at president Daniel Masoni’s club.
Dongmo’s signing further strengthens the relationship between Troyes and their reserves team, as he becomes the second player to be promoted, after another Cameroonian Kylian Dong.
Dongmo, who can operate anywhere in the midfield joined the club back in 2017. He is yet to make a senior appearance, though netted some important goals for the feeder team.
He will join compatriots
Kylian Dong and midfielder Tristan Dingome in the first team.
Though Dongmo holds a French passport, he is eligible to play for Cameroon through his parental ties.
