YOSA of Bamenda

YOSA will travel to the West Region this Sunday in search of their first win in 3 Leagues matches will Fovu seeks to stop their run of 5 games without a win.

It is going to be a game with both teams setting out for three points and nothing less given the recent results recorded by both clubs.

Coach Magloire Mfutila will be facing YOSA for the third time in his career just like his colleague Ndoumbe Bosso will be meeting a Mfutila side for just the third time and remains unbeaten in that run.

HISTORY

An initiative from Legendary late Yong Francis in 2004 youth development in Sports gave birth to the renown YOSA of the Cameroon League championship. The club has been in the top flight for over a decade now. Though the club is still to win the league title, they have shown incredible consistency.Last season,YOSA finished the league in 5th position, that is a place behind Fovu that came from the second tier competition to finish 4th in their first campaign after 3 years out of the big time

Fovu is one of the most respected clubs in the West Region of Cameroon.Created in 1978,Fovu won the domestic title in 2000.

HEAD TO HEAD

Fovu controversial went down and spent 3 years out of the top flight championship before returning las t season. Last term, the clubs clashed twice and Fovu failed to score in both games as YOSA beat them 1 nil in Bamenda and the reversed fixture ended as a goalless draw.

Both set of supporters are desperate to see their team score as many goals as possible.

CURRENT FORM

YOSA have scored just twice in 5 games this season with all goals coming from defenders. In fact the club is still showing signs of last seasons attacking weaknesses and are currently on a run of two games without scoring.

YOSA is currently 4th in Group B with 8th points from 5 games. So far they have picked up 2 wins,2 draws and 1 defeat.

In the Fovu camp, it seems like long time now since Victor Mengue scored a hat trick in February to give them their first and only win of the season.Goals have been very hard to get for the boys of coach Magloire Mfutila, the club is currently on a run of 3 games without scoring and all 4 goals this season have been scored by Victor Mengue. Fovu currently occupies the 7th spot in the group with 4 points.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Center back Arnaud Ziepop will be facing his former Club  for the first time since he crossed carpet from YOSA to Fovu at the end of last season. Ashu Tambe Clevis is a former player of Fovu and the striker could be lining up against Ziepop for another interesting match.

Center forward Dooh Alain Mokoko and striker Victor Mengue will also have an interesting contest.

The is more than just another game for 3 points but to an extend it is an audition for both coaches to win if they must keep their jobs.
