The president of the Cameroon Football Federation has offered a new 70 places bus to the Indomitable Lionesses.
According to sources, the bus whose footages are trending on social media this Friday evening has been offered to the Lions by Samuel Eto’o.
The bus was handed to the team officials by the president himself in Douala on the evening before the day the Under-20 Lionesses confront their counterparts of Nigeria in the fourth round of the Women’s Under-20 FIFA world cup qualifiers.
The facility obtained on a short-term lease agreement from a popular transport agency will transport the team throughout their stay in Douala and the senior team in future.
The ultra-modern sophisticated bus fits the needs of a team and will be used during their preparations.
The bus has the stickers of the traditional colors of the team and some words of motivation which makes it even more attractive.
The previous bus shared by the men’s team, which Eto’o also used during his time in the national team had become the attraction of many for the wrong reason thus justifying this change.
Last month, during the preparations for the TotalErnegies AFCON Eto’o offered a bus to the Lions.
Eto’o took over FECAFOOT from Seidou Mbombo Njoya last December and vowed to bring innovations to the institution.
Some of his recent moves have been saluted by stakeholders across the board.
