Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa was a late substitute for Fulham as his club ended their winless run over Everton. A brace from Josh Maja at the 48mins and 65mins respectively ensured that all three points went to Fulham.
In a tactical substitution from Scot Parker, Ademola Lookman was replaced by Zambo Anguissa at the 83rd minute. With few minutes to the end of the match, the opportunity for Anguissa to show was he is capable of was limited. At the 90+2mins, Andre Frank Anguissa goes a bit too far as he pulls down Abdoulaye Doucoure.
For the past two games, Zambo Anguissa has been brought on at the latter stages of games. In their 0-0 draw against West Ham United, Zambo Anguissa was also a late substitute
In a 4-2-3-1 system employed by Coach Scott Parker for the game against West Ham, Zambo Anguissa was overlooked in favour of Bobby Reid. Scott Parker’s traditional 3-4-3 formation usually sees Anguissa playing in midfield with Harrison Reed.
The win for Fulham sees the side stay at the 18th spot with 18 points. They are now just 7 points behind Newcastle in 17th position. Another victory for the side in their next encounter against Sheffield United on February 20 keeps their hopes alive of making out of the relegation zone and avoids relegation.
